This pristine countryside has perfectly manicured and sprawling homes where the average lot size is two acres, and yet, the area still has a small town feel with its quaint Village of Rancho Santa Fe.

Preserving and maintaining the quality of character and architectural integrity is of utmost importance to the community and is maintained by the governing agreement called the Covenant of Rancho Santa Fe. The Covenant once only named the principle governing document, now also names the community itself. You’ll find that only two styles of architecture allowed in the community – Spanish Mediterranean and Ranch – are permitted.
