Rancho Peñasquitos

Welcome to a Town Connected to Nature

Filled with picturesque canyons, hillsides and ridges, this quaint community of San Diego draws many families to it. Most notable about the landscape is a large peak, reaching over 1500 feet higher than the surrounding areas, called Black Mountain. Many single family homes wrap around the base of the mountain creating a peaceful community. The area provides many outdoor recreation opportunities throughs parks, recreation centers and hiking trails. Schools are top notch and homes in this area are considered affordable. This is a great area to live if you want to be in San Diego, but without the hustle and bustle of city life. Homes were mostly built in the 70s-90s in this area, but the community of Torrey Highlands is a newer developed area where most homes were built in the early 2000s to present.
