This beautiful neighborhood is a master planned community that was built around private parks and clubs. Considered a quiet suburb of the City of San Diego, this area sits on rolling hills and canyons providing a beautiful landscape, serene neighborhoods and excellent views. Known for golf courses, private clubs, strip malls and office parks, it’s also known for having some of the best schools in San Diego. Many families move here for it’s peaceful, safe and family oriented community, knowing the area will provide a wonderful environment for their families.

Homes were mostly built between the 60s-70s, with pockets of developments built in the 80s & 90s. Homes range from condos and townhomes to detached and large estates. There are a couple lively senior communities built in the 70s for those who want an active lifestyle. Education

The award winning Poway Unified School District, one of the highest ranked school districts in San Diego County, supports the community of 4S Ranch. Students excel in this school district due to the excellent curriculum, high academic rankings, high involvement in PTA, low student to teacher ratios, and high parent and teacher involvement. All of the award-winning public schools are highly loved. The district operates 25 elementary schools (K-5), one elementary & middle school combination (TK-8th), six middle schools (6-8), one continuation high school and five comprehensive high schools (9-12).
