Education
The award winning Poway Unified School District, one of the highest ranked school districts in San Diego County, supports the community of Poway. Students excel in this school district due to the excellent curriculum, high academic rankings, high involvement in PTA, low student to teacher ratios, and high parent and teacher involvement. All of the award-winning public schools are highly loved. The district operates 25 elementary schools (K-5), one elementary & middle school combination (TK-8th), six middle schools (6-8), one continuation high school and five comprehensive high schools (9-12).
