Homes here were crafted by Pardee Homes starting in early 1991. The area has a total of 596 homes with the Summit having 187 homes, Promontory 190, Santa Barbara and Vista Santa Barbara having 182 homes. The community of Pacific Highlands Ranch encompasses nearly 2,652 acres with a projected maximum number of dwelling units of 5,182 homes. Conservation of the Multiple Habitat Preservation Area is the foundation for the area, preserving open space and encouraging wildlife movement. The preservation area constitutes 1,275 acres (48%) of the community. The Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Center has a swimming pool, children’s pool/water park, gym, and clubhouse.

 

Torrey Del Mar & Vicinity

Although located in the 92130 zip code, Torrey Del Mar and Vicinity is part of a larger development called Torrey Highlands in the 92129 zip code. Residents attend the Poway Unified School District. The most exclusive community in Torrey Del Mar and Vicinity is Fairbanks Highlands, a gated and beautifully landscaped community known for being safe and neighborly. Collins Ranch is also gated.

 

Torrey Hills

The first homes were built in Torrey Hills in 1995 and the total number of single-family attached and detached homes has grown to approximately 1,758 homes. At the heart of the community is a neighborhood park with a very active recreational program for families.
